Hair & Beauty Magazine
Many online stores may be budding everyday in Indian e-world, but when it comes to buying stuff online, apart from asking Google, we all turn to our friends and family. This is what I did when I recently planned to write a post on "Where to Buy Sarees Online in India?" and also team Cratsvilla wanted me to have a look of their website and share my views. I don't share my views alone because when I am online talking about buying something, it matters where people around me are headed to, too. All girls in these pictures, are close to me and they love wearing sarees and don't mind spending on quality stuff when it comes to making a choice. I know them all and I also know that they spend way too much shopping online. I turned to each one of them on WhatsApp and asked if they would mind sharing their pictures in saree for a post I was working on. I got an unanimous YES!! My 2nd and 3rd question was the most important, I was secretly plying to pose as soon as they said 'yes' to former question. - Do they buy sarees online? - Which websites did they choose to make the purchase? This is what I got - •60% of them have bought sarees online. •55% were happy with the product they received. •And those 60% have used Craftsvilla at least once and do not mind recommending to others. I was surprised in a good way. "Why?" You ask!! Because I agree with them too as Craftsvilla has a vast collections of sarees and not only (cliché) wedding sarees, bridal sarees and party sarees. The list goes on! Apart from that it doesn't boast on keeping only Indian Designer's and a hefty price range. What I am in awe with is they have to offer something to all kind of buyers depending on buyer's price, fabric, embroidery, make and print demands. Shhh! I want to confess one thing - although I am boasting about how we all want to wear simple, affordable sarees - me and my sisters/friends always look forward to Bollywood style files to know what they are wearing and how they are wearing. Whether it is Deepika's popular Chikankari saree in white by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, net sarees of Priyanka Chopra, Jacqueline's sarees with frills and fringes (and list goes on ) we want it all in a store. And for that I made my sisters sit with me and explore Craftsvilla and decide if we get what we are looking for, and we did! While working on this write-up, I realized that this e-store promises a piece of design for every lady to fall in love with. India's beauty is in its "unity in diversity" and so is the Indian attire "Saree", representing the same essence. To me and most of the buyers, a website is hit if we can get everything in all possible range. So, if you want to own something unique, simple, trendy or quirky - come and experience the whole collection of sarees online. My only suggestion for improvement for all websites would be to display quality product pictures that make buyers experience shoot up and we keep going back for more. Whether I decide to re-visit this topic of buying sarees online, I would definitely keep an eye on my people making the online choices for their purchases so I can bring more on the table! Till later...
