The Hydroptere is still under development but after a few nice speed records it is tackling the ocean and try to cross the Pacific!The idea of coming out of the water to go faster is not new , but the realisation of the dream of no longer floating, but flying above the waves, dates from 1994, when Alain Thébault and his crew flew the prototype for the first time…reaching 60 MPH(around 100 Km/h)!
