Hunger + Strong Emotion = Desire to Binge

By Healthhungry @Healthhungry
This work week went really really fast!  Today ended the week in a very challenging way, and I was FEELING a strong urge to eat what I wanted(carbs) in a quick way...  I came home from class and grabbed an apple and smeared it with almond butter.  I am learning that hunger + strong emotion = a desire to binge.  I am also learning that if I eat something small to take the edge of my hunger, I can make a more rational decision about what I am going to eat for a meal.
Hunger + Strong Emotion = Desire to BingeI wasn't feeling like cooking, another thing I've noted I often feel when I have a hard day... so I decided to take advantage of the credit we had at our favorite Thai place due to the screw up the other day.  I could eat Thai every day of the week!  I had the Pad See Ew with Tofu and vegetarian salad rolls.  It was so good!

Have I described my favorite nightly dessert to you yet?  It is so worth repeating!
In the (Vita)mix:-1/2 to 1 cup frozen cherries-1/2 frozen banana-1 scoop chocolate Amazing Greens-1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
My favorite food has always been ice-cream, and this tastes like a decadent shake!  I swear it does... and the best thing is that it's actually good for you!  Cherries are EXCELLENT for their anti-inflammatory properties, and to get the chocolate flavor in the form of greens?!  What a magical creation...
Happy Friday!!!(I'm posting this right now but I know most of you will read it tomorrow - which is in less than a 1/2 an hour!)
