Dream of independence

Every business owner’s dream is to achieve the best financial result. Many entrepreneurs quit their job hoping to establish independence and success.  Although many fail this dream but the businesses, which use marketing strategies suitable for their niche, blossoms and succeed.

Unique Marketing

Every business must utilize specific ways of marketing to its own precise clients or niche.  Imagine a family restaurant that wants to run a happy hour, have to market it to attract customers in those hours. If the restaurant run the special without any target market, it waist away discounts to clients who walked in the door without knowing this special in advance.

The above example shows before running any in-house special, get the word out first.  And invite in the customers to walk in for the purpose of happy hour.

In regards to marketing and how to approach and connect to potential clients, exploit effective ways, which are unique and exclusive to the nature of the business. Consider a boutique and a plumbing business. These two have separate ways of marketing, different strategy and particular approach.

Many small businesses struggle to get new clients and out of despair, try every marketing method and copy cat the marketing strategy from other businesses. Every unsuccessful try is expensive plus leaves a wrong impression. As an example if a restaurant offers a wrong marketing, it attracts wrong niche and this can leave a unpleasant impression for existing clients.

Another example on marketing out of desperation: An upscale hair Salon business owner, distributes discount coupons out of despair and lack of client. This was a wrong marketing strategy since it attracted folks who were interested in the discount, not the quality of the hair cut.

Although he gained a few customers as a result of the coupon, but the question is how loyal are these new customers. The data proves, 50% of the discount attracted customers are not loyal and will not return for the quality of the service, if the discount is discontinued.
