Bohemian Evening- Looking for a ‘hatke’ look for a date night? Seek respite in indo western boho looks
I only remember this girl whenever the word "Bohemian" :)
The modern woman is a nomad trapped in an urban world and is living out of suitcases and climbing ladders but some of them are deeply rooted to their culture and flaunt a bit of heritage and craft down their sleeves and although the trend now a days is towards hard core red carpet glamour and runway trends ,however there are women who still enjoy the relaxed restrained and old world bohemian look and don't hesitate in flaunting for a important date.By sporting a bohemian look, she necessarily does not become sloppy or old fashioned or an advocate of granny chic or 1970's .If incorporated in a stylish manner,it could really make a woman stand out.
First of all,the popular silhouettes for a date night incorporating the bohemian look would be a bold floral maxi with cutouts or deep backs and some pretty detailing,or one can wear pallazo's with cropped tops ,pleated long skirts with a cropped top looks really free spirited and a long floral voluminous dress with a sharply constructed bolero jacket or blazer would a good choice.some other unconventional choices would be a layered dress,a floral jumpsuit, midi's and floor length skirts .These silhouettes can look feminine yet unconventional.Artistic and offbeat fabrics like hemp, mul, linen, khadi, summer silk etc add to the look and color pallete can range from sepia hues of ecru, custard, blush, mint, canary yellow to vivid tones of marsala, burnt orange ,blue and purple's.
The accessories should be minimal but striking like big hoop earrings or a striking beaded or antique silver nomadic neck piece and the no make up look is the best choice for these outfits with nude lips and very little eye makeup.wedges, mojris, kolhapuris ,pumps, sneakers along with craft oriented bag or jhola would enhance the look and by following these unconventional guidelines, your date would be wooing a woman of substance, someone who is deeply rooted to her culture yet is unorthodox and some one who has a mind of her own and a distinct identity.
