While there is nothing wrong with feeling a tad sluggish every now and then, becoming overly exhausted every day should be enough reason for us to zero in on our health and lifestyle habits. Lack of sleep, poor diet habits, and stress are some of the most common instigators of energy loss. 1.   Watch What You Eat

Eating a healthy bowl of cereal in the morning or a fruit platter can instantly perk up your mood as it lowers the body’s cortisone levels which induce stress.

 

Rather than indulge in heavy meals that only make you feel weary, it’s better to eat smaller meals every four hours to keep your sugar and energy levels even during the day.  A healthy serving of carbohydrates, protein, fiber, and healthy fats are enough to keep you alert and ready for whatever challenges the new day may bring.

 

Water plays a vital role in fueling your body, so drinking lots of it ensures your proper hydration which in turn will ensure your body’s normal circulation. Apart from H2O, food sources that are rich in water content such as watermelons, carrots, oranges and the like contribute to lasting energy. 

 

2.   Keeping a Positive Outlook

 

Physical fatigue as well as mental and emotional strain triggers your loss of joie de vivre. When you are feeling like you’re on the verge of a mental breakdown, gulp down some cold water or take a long shower to ease the strain on your mind and body. Talking to a friend is also a powerful tool to aid in beating stress as opposed to bottling up all your worries inside.

 

If you wake on a particularly down and sluggish day, put on your most commanding suit and go to work looking you are on top of your game even if are actually at your lowest point.  

 

3.   Take a Breather

 

Even when juggling a number of urgent things, always remember to pace them out in a way so that you still have a semblance of balance and peace in your life.
