FROM KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA

From the Airport
If arriving in Kuala Lumpur on the Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT), take a bus (8-10 MYR) or the KL Transit train with a shuttle bus to the Salak Tinggi Station (12 MYR). Both options will terminate at KL Sentral, and both take almost an hour and a half to get to the city.
On the other hand, if arriving through Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), take a bus (8-10 MYR) or the KL Ekspres fast train to KL Sentral (32 MYR). The former takes almost an hour and a half, while the latter takes only 30 minutes to the city.
KL Sentral, a transport hub, provides links to the LRT, monorail, city buses, commuter trains, and intercity trains. Coupon taxis based on regular rates are also available.
By Bus
Take a bus to Johor Bahru’s Larkin Bus Terminal from Kuala Lumpur’s Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS). Used for buses headed to and from Southern Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore, TBS is accessible via the Bandar Tasik Selatan Station of the Rapid KL LRT, the KTM Komuter train, and the KL Transit airport fast train.
Note that those coming from LCCT and KLIA may opt to take the KL Transit airport fast train and alight directly at the Bandar Tasik Selatan Station.
Buses from TBS to Larkin Bus Terminal depart often and take four to under five hours per way. Fare costs about 30-40 MYR, depending on bus company and bus type.
From Larkin Bus Terminal in Johor Bahru, take KTB’s direct shuttle bus (6 MYR) to LEGOLAND Malaysia, which runs every 30 minutes. Causeway Link’s bus number LG1 (2.80 MYR), with 10 trips on weekdays and 15 trips on weekends, also makes a stop at Larkin Bus Terminal. Refer to this link for the schedule of both buses.
By Train
For a more adventurous and scenic option, KTM Intercity has trains linking KL Sentral to JB Sentral. Serving both ways are two trains in the afternoon and one overnight train with sleeping options. Train trips take six hours per way and cost a minimum of 33 MYR.
Note that the trains depart and arrive at KL Sentral and JB Sentral and not their respective bus terminals. Getting to their respective bus terminals can be easily done by public transport.

From the Airport
Make your way to Changi Airport’s Terminal 2 for the Changi Airport MRT Station (CG2). Those arriving from Terminals 1 and 3 will have to take the Skytrain, while those arriving at the soon-to-close Budget Terminal will have to take the scheduled shuttle buses.
From downtown, there are two ways to get to LEGOLAND Malaysia: by direct coach or by public bus. As the park is in Malaysia, immigration clearance is required at two checkpoints—one in Singapore and the other in Malaysia. Filipinos enjoy visa-free entry into both countries.
Those who prefer to head directly to LEGOLAND Malaysia from Changi Airport may take the direct Transtar Cross Border Service (TS1) coach from all four terminals at their respective coach stands. These coaches will make a stop at the Sultan Iskandar CIQ Complex, where there is a link to JB Sentral by walkways. Download the timetable here.

By Direct Coach
From any MRT station including the Changi Airport MRT Station (CG2), take the trains to Promenade MRT Station (CC4). Look for Exit A of the said station then walk for less than five minutes towards the base and the ticketing offices of the Singapore Flyer.
WTS Tours, with a ticketing office at the Singapore Flyer, runs the direct coach to LEGOLAND Malaysia for 20 SGD, which includes a 5 MYR meal voucher. Refer to this link for the schedule.
By Public Bus
From any MRT station including the Changi Airport MRT Station (CG2), take the trains to Kranji MRT Station (NS7). Wait outside the station for SBS bus number 160 or 170 that will head for Johor Bahru, Malaysia. After immigrations clearance at the Sultan Iskandar CIQ Complex, do not ride the bus anymore but instead walk towards JB Sentral, which is connected to the border control facility by walkways.

There are several ways to get to JB Sentral from Singapore, for there are at least three companies that have cross-border public buses. Just make sure that the bus is headed for the Woodlands CIQ in Singapore, as its counterpart in Johor Bahru is connected to JB Sentral.
Alternatively, there is also a public bus from Jurong East. Take the trains to Jurong East MRT Station (NS1/EW24) from any MRT station including the Changi Airport MRT Station (CG2) then look for the bus interchange. Causeway Link’s JPO2 bus will go directly to the CIQ 2nd link then LEGOLAND Malaysia, and it will head for the JPO Premium Outlets thereafter.
