I am overly obsessed with my hair. It is almost unhealthy the obsession I have. My goal in life (one of them) is to have incredibly long & healthy hair. I don't use a ton of products, because honestly I don't think that is good for your hair. There are a few things that are crucial to me when it comes to hair care, and I truly swear by ALL of them!
1. Yes to Carrots Shampoo & Conditioner: I have a hard time finding a shampoo and conditioner that doesn't dry my hair out, or make it too oily, yet this stuff is perfect. I am pretty sure the whole line of products is pretty fabulous. I just got the Yes to Tomatoes exfoliating cleanser and the Yes to Blueberries eye brightener roller. I love the cleanser already & I am blown away by the eye brightener roller. I have had issues with under-eye circles since I was a baby. I have been tested for allergies and many other things, and nothing could explain these shiners. I tried it out by doing one eye first, and let me just say, within minutes my circles were disappearing. I can't wait to see how they look in like a month from now... I am expecting good things.
2. DermOrganic Argan Oil: I usually like to stick to just shampoo & conditioner and no other added hair products- I despise when my hair feels heavy/gunky from products. My hair dresser recommended I try this DermOrganic Argain oil, and I am hooked. It makes my hair just a bit silkier and shinier when I want to wear it straight & it defines keeps my hair smooth when curly. Basically, it's a perfect product.
3. Maxi-Hair Vitamins: This is the newest addition to my hair care regimen. Maxi-Hair vitamins were something I stumbled across in the drug store, and within the 2 months I have been using it- my hair has grown pretty drastically. It is really odd actually. It also is good for the skin and nails, so that's an added plus. I do have two tips for those wanting to grow there hair long. First, pre-natal vitamins may make your hair long, but they are not good for you to take. You most likely will develop cystic acne. Next, it is my belief that you cutting your hair to make it grow is an old-wives tail, sure your hairdresser (and all ones reading this), will. Yet this is my opinion, hair grows from the top... not the bottom. Wait until it is SUPER long (the length you want) & then give it a minor trim to clean the tips.
