My latest place to shop for fabulous items for house & home is HomeSense, part of the TK Maxx group. If you are familiar with TK Maxx, you'll know that they offer branded goods at vastly reduced prices, up to 60% off & HomeSense is just the same.
I am delighted to announce that I will be working with HomeSense over the next few months featuring some of the great items from their stores.
My first visit to HomeSense was last week when I called in at their Cardiff store.I wasn't sure what to expect to be really honest, I was aware that different items/products arrive in store all the time so I think I imagined having to wade through piles of stock & hoping to get lucky.
I could not have been more wrong....the store was light, bright & welcoming.Literally the second that I walked in, I could see things that I loved.
The store is beautifully set out, divided into sections - cushions, lighting, kitchen, picture frames & so much more, there's a huge choice.
I went to the store accompanied by my husband & children....my husband is a keen cook & loved the choice of cookbooks & copper saucepans, my teenage daughter could quite happily have redecorated her room & my son found toys & some ginormous cushions for his bedroom!
The quality was fantastic, really impressive & I could have bought many many things....gorgeous lamps & lights, one-off chairs in great fabrics, a table perfect for a dressing room, enormous mirrors, colourful Spanish style & French shabby chic serving dishes.
So what did I buy? Well, some cushions for my living room in varying shades of grey, a large mirror decorated with recycled paper from Vietnam which my daughter fell in love with, some cookbooks, a couple of copper saucepans, a large picture frame & some olive oil (they carry food items from around the world).
Happily for me a new store is opening this Thursday 10 September in South Harrow - a special launch day will offer anyone visiting the store a chance to open the "Curiosity Cabinet" & see what they might be lucky enough to find.
Plus there will be a store full of newly arrived gorgeous items, so if you are nearby come & take a look!
I can't wait to go to the store again, I already have a list of items in mind although part of the appeal of HomeSense is that you never know what you might find instore.
