When I decided to make hot sauce, I wanted to make something to give as gifts. I used to love hot and spicy foods, now that I am a bit older I still love them, but they do not love me back.
I kept hearing about some of the hot peppers they use in food. Names like Ghost Pepper, Habanero and other peppers sound pretty hot to me. I looked but found I couldnt find a Ghost Pepper anywhere. What I did find at the Asian store is Thai peppers. That is what I decided to make my pepper sauce with. I also tossed in a few habaneros just because I had some on hand. I bought the jars from my local cake and wine shop. I also had some leftover labels that are made out of chalk board paint and I think they look pretty good.
