Highstreet Picks

By Brightowngirl @Brightowngirl
Highstreet PicksAs much as I can be a bit of a snob when it comes to beauty products there are quite a few products from the High street that I enjoy using.
So today I thought I would share with you some new products I have discovered from the High Street that I think you should check out.
First up is the Bourjois Voluminzer Mascara in Ultra Black (£10.99). I have had the original version of this a few times and loved it and this is just a more dramatic, darker version of it. What isn't to love? It is one of those two wand mascaras that give you volume and length and just makes your lashes look fantastic. It is a must if you like your lashes to look long and full.
Next up is the Maybelline Instant Anti-Age The Eye Eraser (£7.99), which is basically an under eye concealer. It has a domed sponge applicator that is unique to this product and applies the concealer easily and smoothly under the eye without dragging the skin.
I find this to be a medium coverage and does help my eyes look more awake and brighter. I think it is safe to say this lives up to the hype for me.
With this hot and humid weather my skin has been a bit more on the oily side that normal and the Witch Mattifying Moisturiser* (£4.99) has really helped to keep the shine at bay.
This is a mattifying moisturiser that contains SPF15 and protects from UVA and UVB rays. It gives 24 hour hydration and is dermatologically tested for oily and combination skins.
This really does hydrate the skin and leave it feeling soft at the same time. It doesn't leave a residue or make me look shiny. It is a must for us combination/oily skin people who are struggling in this heat.
Lastly I wanted to mention the Bourjois Cream Blush in 02 (£7.99) which isn't pictured. This is a really light, matte cream blush that is really easy to apply. It isn't the most pigmented blush but great just to add a quick pop of color to the cheeks.
Do let me know what your high street favourites are at the moment?
