High Street FOTD + Mini Reviews

High Street FOTD + Mini ReviewsI know I keep saying it but high street beauty brands are really doing it for me at the moment. There has been one amazing release after another.
I thought I would share with you a look I have been enjoying doing with some of the new launches.
To start, we have the L'Oreal Nude Magique Eau De Teint Foundation which I reviewed here. This gives a light, flawless finish that leaves the skin with a satin/matte finish all day long. To finish my base off I covered any blemishes with Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer as well as applying it under the eyes. To set it I dusted some of the Bourjois Universal Illuminating Powder on. On the cheeks I have the Sleek Blush in Antique and to highlight Jemma Kidd Dewy Glow.
I applied the L'Oreal Brow Artist through my brows and used Nars Pro Prime Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base as a primer before using the new Rimmel Glam Eyes HD Palette in Brixton Brown. This palette is perfect for creating an autumn eye look. It contains 5 neutral, warm shades that all blend well together. To swatch this didn't look very promising but once the shadows were applied over a base with a brush they looked amazing and stayed in place all day.
Before finishing the eyes with Bourjois Volumizer Mascara I used Seventeen Lacquer Liner which is wet look finish liner that has the best staying power. It has a very fine brush that makes it easy to apply a really precise line and once applied it isn't going anywhere.
Lastly to round the look off I applied the newly reformulated Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in Dark Night Waterl-oops! I dabbed this on and blended it out slightly with my finger as it is a very dark vampy shade. This is so comfortable to wear, it is light but stays on the lips well. I will definitely be picking up more shades of these.
Have you checked out any of these new products yet?
