Hello Budapest - Part 1

Meet Teto. We met at the airport.
Hello Budapest - Part 1
When we saw each other we just knew we were going to be friends for life.
So off we went, skipping side by side.
Hello Budapest - Part 1
One of the best things about living in London is just how easy it is to jump onto a plane and fly away.
Just 2 and a half hours later and we landed in Budapest.
Budapest is the capital city of Hungary, and is one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
It consists of 2 cities with different flavours, Buda on the west bank of the Danube River and is considered to be the Old City, and Pest is on the east bank and is traditionally associated with a more pulsating city atmosphere.
It was also absolutely freezing when I was there earlier this year, reaching the grand total of 0°C during the day and dipping down to -4°C in the evenings.
There were 2 main things that I needed to do to keep warm.
1) Find myself a fur hat. Check.
So how do you like it? Fetching riiiight? ;]

2) Drink ALL the hot chocolate I can whilst I was there, and I can honestly say hand on heart that NOTHING beats a Hungarian hot chocolate.
It was unbelievably thick, unbelievably chocolate-y without being too sweet and just so unbelievably good.
The Hungarians are the Kings of hot chocolate.
Just look at this beauty.
