Hi everyone! How was your holiday? It feels like ages since I’ve blogged, and I’m so thrilled to be back. Christmas was restful and relaxing, the world didn’t end (yay) and there’s some fun things in store for the new year. After a little patience, I was finally able to get an iPhone 5 (from the iPhone 3 - BIG jump!) so all of the photos you see here are some of my “fiddling around with” the camera – have to say, it’s not disappointing ;)
1) New studded frame from Pier 1 – introducing a rich, dark wood into the living room mix.
2) Williams-Sonoma boxed candle – this one smells amazing and looks effortlessly chic!
3) Striped West Elm tote from my hubby’s cousin who always.nails.it. when it comes to gift giving (see a similar tote here).
4) A hand-me-down orchid that someone received at work but didn’t want (super depressing, right? I think it’s being used quite well in my dining room) :)
5) The perfect glass-base lamp for our dresser (on sale for only $28 bucks).
6) Putting our wood pencils to good staging use at the desk.
7) Soft pink mums – I try to make sure there’s always fresh flowers in the entry. It makes everything feel so welcoming!
8) Neutral fabric table runner (and the coolest container candle from West Elm. Again. The cousin. NAILED IT).
9) Gray patterned runner on the dresser (and yes – more candles).
