I started some pastels, telling about this light. I have taken this subject quite a few time, but I have to say I really enjoyed doing this particular painting, and using the warm colors of the pastels (playing again on the oranges and blues… ).

Once one is into this medium, it is quite difficult to stop. It's so playful! I miss watercolor though… Splashing colors with transparency. I wish I could mix both (I am in the search for a paper able to take both water and pastel : maybe in a couple of weeks…)
