chocolate & espresso cake with dulce de leche & sea salt
it's a gorgeous morning here in London, the kitchen door is open, sun is streaming in through the windows & I'm finishing up this post whilst sitting on my garden bench....
since i wrote this post last week, progress has been made on the house....we have appointed a builder, more plans have been made....we are heading in the right direction. slowly ;)
my lovely friend C worked on the garden at the front of the house this week & tomorrow we are painting our front door....after looking at many many colours, we decided on this shade of bluey-green, fingers crossed!the garden has undergone a mini-transformation & it's lovely to have something completed....1 down, 1001 more things to go ;)
This weekend....reading, visiting the library to get some books out for the school holidays which started yesterday, cake-baking & eating some good food.
