....sitting here on a gorgeously sunny Saturday afternoon in London town, the kitchen door is wide open & sunlight is pouring in....it's one of those days which seem like a gift, it is almost mid October after all. I will be digging out all my winter boots this weekend, if feels like time....but right now, I am enjoying every single minute of the bright blue skies.
The dog pictured above....neither my husband or I grew up with dogs, so I don't consider us "dog people"....but it seems hardly a week passes without another new puppy appearing at the school gate & my children would absolutely love one. I think we are a long way off from even contemplating it, to be really honest....but of course that doesn't prevent us from discussing breeds (them)...and holiday & walking arrangements (me)!
I've been writing a little more on my blog this week, really enjoying that....thank you so much for all your kind comments, particularly on my "Sitting on The Bus" post which got a very lovely response :)
After a particularly hectic & full on week, we're regrouping a little this weekend & simply spending time together....tomorrow I am planning a "one pot supper", a chili or a soup most likely. We are also having a "no screen day", not sure how well that will be received....but it's happening!
