Happy Mondays #3 + #LOTD

By Sarahhhp @SarahhhP

This post is a bit longer than anticipated as I am feeling especially happy after a fabulous week :) The main thing I've been smiling about is that I've managed to rid myself of my student overdraft! *does a little dance* I've also been spending a lot of time with some special 'peeps' and the two combined have meant a grin being permanently glued to my face!
Anyway, first off, I noticed this morning that the lovely Louise over at Sprinkle of Glitter had started a new feature - "Love of the Day" (#LOTD on Twitter). This morning she decided that today's "love" topic would be clothes and so I thought I would join in by incorporating my own "Love of the Day" item into my regular Happy Mondays feature and into my posts each day for the next few weeks! I think it's a fab idea that she's come up with and am really looking forward to taking part.
So... number 1) on my list today and my "Love of the Day" item of clothing is this gorgeous floral print maxi dress from ASOS. Normally when it comes to maxi skirts/dresses, I like them to be a bit 'floaty' but in this instance I really love the more fitted style and the print is amazing. I can imagine styling it with a pair of tan sandals and a lovely big statement necklace - perfection

It had been in the my-wardrobe sale, but by the time I discovered it, it was sold out. Searched high and low and the only place I could find it was at Season's Clothing (still at the full price of £50) - I hung in there though and eventually it was marked down 50% in the sale - reached straight for the debit card of course!
3) These are a couple of quotes from my Pinterest "Inpiration" board. I'm never normally one for this type of thing but I really like these two little sayings as they seem to ring true in many ways
4) People say a cup of tea solves everything - I don't know if I'd go quite that far, but this little Jubilee commemorative tin from Twinings certainly brightens up my morning cuppa and has been doing so every day this week.

5) Finally, this is the song I've had on repeat in the car all week - having a good sing-a-long. Just can't get it out of my head! Suggest you all stick it on and turn it up as loud as you can as it's guaranteed to convert your mood from bad to good in seconds! :)Happy Mondays #3 + #LOTD
