First of all I want to make it clear that I'm not writing this post to show my appreciation for Shaun, Bez and the gang. No, "Happy Mondays" is the new feature I've decided to start putting together each week for the blog. Basically, each Monday I'm going to do a little post showcasing the things that have been making me smile and feel inspired over the previous seven days. So here goes...
I wrote this post a few weeks ago where I talked about the items I most regret not buying (especially now that they've all sold out). Well... until recently I thought I had missed out on these two lovely pieces as well. However, I was delighted to find out today that the aztec print dress is back in stock at Topshop (snapped it up right away to avoid further disappointment!) and I also discovered plenty of the sold out Zara neon necklaces available on eBay - so I will soon be putting my bidding skills to the test! Even if I'm not successful, it does now say on the Zara site as well, that they will be back in stock again soon - so fingers crossed!

I'm really enjoying keeping myself busy right now with the numerous different little projects and events I have planned. We're currently having the house remodelled which means a chance for me to redecorate and spruce up my rather drab looking bedroom. The room in the pic above is pretty much my ideal - bright, white and airy with plenty of space for my ever expanding wardrobe! <3
The other little pictures are just a few ideas/bits I like the look of for the BBQ extravaganza myself and a few others are in the midst of organising (that's if the weather ever gets it's act together). I've offered to host, mainly because I love having an excuse to break out the bunting and make a ridiculously cheesy playlist ;)
Couldn't go without mentioning the watermelon jello shots on sticks either. How amazing? I am definitely going to give them a go!
Finally, these little fluffy creatures are currently residing in my back garden! Back in September, eight mallards waddled up unannounced (we have a pretty substantial sized pond and so they must have thought it'd make the perfect crash pad!). Slowly but surely each one has disappeared, all apart from this little lady who recently gave us these eight miniature bundles of joy :)
Each night before bed now means intense cat/fox deterrence procedures being put into action - involving the use of a lot of chicken wire and a wind up radio (don't ask!). They really are the most adorable things though, and no matter what my mood is, watching them splish splashing around every day, never fails to make me smile <3
