I hope everyone has had a glorious 3-day weekend (if you're reading from the US) and that you spent some solid time outside enjoying the unofficial start of summer! I think Memorial Day is one of my favorite holidays for that reason. It would always be the first weekend we headed up to Maine and got to go to the beach (provided it was warm enough...), and it was always the first cookout of the season!Even though I hardly ever get to Maine or a beach nowadays, I still like the anticipation Memorial Day brings for the summer ahead!
