India is one of the oldest civilization in the world ,which is famous for its culture ,tradition .Its 7th largest country .East India company of Britishers came to India in the year 1608 for trading .They saw the decline of Mughal kingdom and the English used this chance and increased their presence in India .In the mean time they defeated the Dutch and French .Britishers took lots and lots of wealth from india gold ,silver .
Few year back i visited Kolar Gold Fields the whole place is famous for its gold mine ,this place was also under the control of British .I was really upset because they looted every wealth from us .British people called this place as “Little England ” due to its wealth .Totally there were 10 mines but now nothing is there one can see all the sand and rocks only .At present only two mines left .There are lots of Bungalows left there some are unused. Kolar is really a nice place because its on the Deccan plateau 3000 feet above the sea level. Just think how much they took not only from this place ,they ruled the whole India top to bottom and took tons and tons of minerals .Totally they ruled 339 years in India.Indians also started rebelling the british but not in their way by using guns and other weapons .Several people like Mahatma Gandhi,Bhagat Singh,Subhas Chandra Bose,Bharathi,V.O.chidambarnar and many more fought against them hoping that one day we will get independance . At last on 15 August 1947 we got Independence .Today we are celebrating the 65 th Independence Day but still we are separated by caste ,religion and lot of problem like corruption and all still India is not in the list of developed countries still we are in the developing stage …
