The Never Too Broke For Beauty happiness tool kit includes:
Watching a filmNot just any film, lets face it Schindler’s List isn’t going to give you a lift, but a film that you find uplifting. This could be a comedy, a chick flick or a romance (with a happy ending!) In my case I watch musicals when I need cheering up, singing, dancing and technicolour are all good for your emotional health in my opinion! My musicals of choice include; The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Singin’ In The Rain and Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.

I'm singing and dancing in the rain...
Going to the gymNow I’m not a huge fan of exercise, in fact the thought alone makes me a little depressed but I do love dancing, especially Zumba. So either head to a Zumba class or stick on Just Dance and have a boogie!
Doing something productiveWhen I do something productive I feel like I’ve achieved something! Write a blog post, bake a cake or organize your wardrobe. I personally like to go for a walk, fresh air, exercise and scenary =happiness.

Going for a walk
Having a TV programme marathonI often feel my worst when I’m stressed and I love to de- stress by indulging in a bit of shallow TV. My current favourites are The Good Wife, Pretty Little Liars, The Vampire Diaries and of course there is my all time favourite, Dawson’s Creek. Pacey = happiness personified!Paint My NailsTaking a bit of time out to focus on yourself isn’t a bad thing. Take time out to have a bath or give yourself a manicure.
Phone a friendI have wonderful family and friends and either visiting or calling them always gives me a lift!
This is my happiness toolkit, what would you include in yours?
