Did I say cookie chip? Are you asking yourself right now what in the world is a cookie chip? Well, I'm going to tell you - it tastes like a cookie but eats like a chip! Get it yet? I know what you're thinking, a cookie and a chip combined sounds a bit weird. But don't turn your nose up yet - keep reading. Cookie chips are basically the amazing cookie flavors that we all know and love, but they are cooked so they have a nice crunch like a chip does.
Anyone that knows me well will tell you I never met a dessert I didn't like, and there are very few I pass up. It explains the fact that I'm not one of those skinny runner girl types. I like to run and I like to eat, but unfortunately, I believe I eat a little more than I run. Anyway, I had never heard of HannahMax Baking's cookie chips myself, but when I did, I knew I just had to try them!
The story behind these cookie chips is that they were born when HannahMax Bakery's founder, executive pastry chef, CEO and mother of three, Joanne Adirim, was baking for her kids, the company's namesakes, a crispy, sweet treat. After they inhaled them like a bag of potato chips, Joanne realized she was onto something big. Between me and you, though, if I had to pick which category this sweet dessert chip fell into, it would be cookie and not chip, that's for sure!
A delicious snack you can feel good about, all six current flavors of cookie chips contain a mere 120-130 calories per serving. They're made from the best, all-natural ingredients we can find, like milled cane sugar, creamery butter, cage-free eggs, fines chocolate and pure bourbon vanilla. Plus, you'll never find any artificial flavors, colors, preservatives, trans fats or GMOs in anything that comes out of the HannahMax Bakery. HannahMax's selectivity in ingredients helps ensure you get homemade taste delivered right to your door or from your local supermarket shelf.
Because these cookies are so thin, they are a great addition to other snacks like ice cream, pudding and more! I would love to share MY desserts with you, but unfortunately, we gobbled them down before we even thought about photographing them. We found a couple ideas similar to ours on the internet, so I'll share those pictures with you. HannahMax has a page dedicated to Recipes and Tips on their website, and they look pretty amazing too so be sure to check out those dessert options as well!
HannahMax Bakery's Cookie Chips come in six different flavors - original, chocolate chip, cinnamon sugar, sea salted peanut butter, dark chocolate chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin. They even sell a "Multi Flavor Pack" that includes one 6 oz. bag of each of the current flavors. If you ask me which flavor was my favorite, I'd have to say either the sea salted peanut butter or the dark chocolate chocolate chip, but honestly, every single bag was phenomenal! I liked every single flavor!
You can find HannaMax Bakery on their Website, or catch them on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or Pinterest too!
