Today I have the lovely Amanda from Skincare HQ talking Guest posting...
The term ‘organic’ pretty much translates into 'natural,' and sometimes natural is better. It can be better for your skin, and better for your health. It is also a particularly good way to go if you have sensitive skin or a lot of allergies. People tend to have less reactions to all natural ingredients and 'cures' than they do to the chemically made ones. This is because our bodies are smart, and they know the natural ingredients you are using, while they don't always recognize those 'foreign invaders.' You can use organic tricks and cures for almost anything, but today we're going to talk about the ones you can use to fight your acne problems. Check them out.
Honey
Honey has a ton of all natural antibacterial properties to it, therefore it's awesome at fighting the bacteria which lives on our skin and causes us breakouts. When that bacteria sinks down into our pores, we're left with pimples and blackheads galore. You can use honey just where you need it by dotting a bit onto your problem spots. Or, you can put it on your whole face like a mask to not only fight the blemishes you have right now, but prevent anymore from popping up. After you place the honey on your face, you should leave it for a while- at least 20 minutes, but an hour is the optimal amount of time.
Apple Cider Vinegar
This is another miracle cure that can be found in your pantry of fridge. The best way to use apple cider vinegar to fight your acne is to put a solution into a spray bottle. You can buy a spray bottle for a dollar or two practically anywhere. Dilute the vinegar with one or two parts water to one part apple cider vinegar. Those who have sensitive skin may want to use three parts water to one part apple cider vinegar because that stuff is fairly potent. Using the spray bottle, you can spray some on a cotton ball or rag and wipe it on your face. You can rinse it off after a while, or leave it on. It doesn’t matter. The neat thing about this trick is that you can use the exact same spray bottle of vinegar solution to keep your hair shiny. It's a two for one deal!
Egg White
An egg white is another fantastic acne cure, and this one is especially good at firming your skin and getting rid of blackheads. Just take an egg white and put it on your face. Cover everything but try not to get any on your mouth (it tastes nasty) or in your eyes. The egg white will dry and you will feel your skin tighten up. Once it is totally dry (and you will know, trust us), just rinse it off with cool water and pat your skin dry. Do this three or four times a week to achieve optimal results quicker.
Use those three fantastic organic acne fighting remedies to keep your skin looking naturally blemish free and beautiful. If you have an organic tip or trick for fighting acne that you want to share with us, or want to tell us how one of ours has worked for you, tell us all about in the comments below. We look forward to hearing from you!
