Green People are a brand that I really like. I think that generally their products are very affordable, made using good quality ingredients, as well as having good ethics. As I have come to the end of my Gentle Cleanse & Make-Up Remover, I realize that although I have mentioned it in passing I haven't actually reviewed it properly. Moving swiftly on ....
I have had Gentle Cleanse & Makeup Remover on the go for somewhere in the region of 9 months. It isn't a product I use everyday, but it is one that I use on a regular basis. I think it is safe to say that 200mls goes a very long way, and I do feel that I have had my money's worth from this.
I like to use Gentle Cleanse as both a first and second cleanser. Indeed this is one of the best I have used as a first cleanse. It does a fantastic job of removing makeup and does not irritate my eyes in the slightest. Although I wouldn't say that my skin is especially sensitive, my eyes are. As someone who wears contact lenses I am always mindful of how gentle a product is. I do tend to follow with a second cleanse with a balm in Winter at night, but in the mornings this is lovely to use by itself.
Gentle Cleanse has a pleasant Rose Geranium fragrance. It's formula feels very nourishing thanks to the combination of Olive Squaline, Calendula, Aloe Vera and Shea Butter. This is a great choice for anyone with either dry or sensitive skin. It certainly does a great job of thoroughly cleansing without stripping the skin. I like the airless pump, it just helps keep everything clean and fuss free. The only slight drawback is that you can't tell exactly how much product is left.
