I've said it before - Guido's Supermarket is a destination for me. I know. It sounds a little sad, but this gem of a marketplace in the Berkshires in Massachusetts just makes me happy. So, whether I am in the area, or take a longer route home from a ski weekend in Vermont, I stop there whenever I can.
When I popped in this Sunday on the way home from Stratton (where my family and friends ski and I hang with my friends in the lodge...or get manicures...) I found this scrumptious vegan treat I hadn't seen before. Wildwood Organic sprouted veggie burger.
Each burger is 170 calories and packed with vegan and gluten-free goodness like organic tofu and veggies, tapioca starch. You can eat it cold or hot, alone, on a bun or in a salad. It is filling and yummy and you can take it anywhere (as long as you have a knife or scissors to open the package and plenty of napkins on hand!) If you come across it, try it and let me know what you think.
