Hellooo, I will go away soon, but I just wanted to show you my blingin' new choker necklace! My lovely grandma gave it to me as she doesn't wear it. I love it, I never really wear things like this normally, as I'm a bit of a girly girl; but It's surprised me and I really like it and it can sort of liven up a plain outfit like this!

This is me at work, we are cooped up in a little attic at the moment, so I have plenty of opportunity to plonk around taking photo's. My shoes are from eBayhere, my jeans areGap Always Skinny, My tops an old Primarni peplum, my cardigan was from a charity shop and my necklace from my grandma!

Off to do some nettle picking in the fields behind my grandma's house - welly time. Were making nettle wine; and in case you've never had it, it's ace and refreshing for in the summer and super easy to make. If you're interested in making it and utilising pesky nettle's that seem to be everywhere (make sure you wash them thoroughly, dog pee does NOT add to the flavour) here's the recipe:

6 litres of water

50 or thereabouts nettletops
1.5 pounds of sugar
25g cream of tartar
7g of yeast (or one of those small packets get from supermarket)(A squeeze of lemon and orange juice in it is nice too) - optionalPlace nettles, juice and lemon and orange peelings in with sugar and yeast. Pour boiling water in and stir well to dissolve sugar. Cover with cloth and set aside to cool.  After five days of fermentation, strain liquid into another container and attach airlock. When wine begins to clear, rack into clean container and refit airlock. After 3 months, rack into bottles.

Finger's crossed I don't sting myself.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend, It's my birthday next Saturday!
