Golden Summers

Something strange has happened. For the first time in my adult life, I'm craving gold jewelry. I never want gold jewelry. In fact, I think that until recently I had less than 5 pieces that were gold (real or otherwise). But that is slowly (ok maybe rapidly?) changing!

However, I've recently decided that it does have it's place, particularly in the summer. It's just so much warmer than silver, looks great with the bright colors that are popping up everywhere this year, and is great with a tan! Add in the proliferation of nautical-themed pieces - which I am, admittedly, obsessed with - and you've got a summer accessory smorgasbord!  *runs out and buys every piece of gold jewelry she can get her hands on*
