What would YOU like to do if money were no object?
I want to do some awesome things and sometimes they call me louder than I can hear my own thoughts.
I think I learned a long time ago, not to follow money.
I am happy with just enough. Surprisingly, though… God has seemed to bless me beyond measure.
There is a scripture that says: ” Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.” ( Phil. 4:11)
Contentment , I am learning is a space in your mind, not in your life and surroundings. I have found great pleasure in learning how to keep my head above water, if you will… it’s been rather enlightening to my soul. It keep my mind, will and emotions in check to experience a little humility every now and then. And the more content I become, the greater my sense of well-being and my blessings just seem to have a regulated flow.
So I do not speak in respect of wanting. I think instead: ” I have enough.” “…I have everything I need.” Psalm 23:1
I think the things that stood out in this video about was what we teach our children.
To be unsatisfied with life.
