How to make a Gnocchi Bolognese Bake
A few weeks ago we went to Frankie and Bennies for Little Mr A’s birthday lunch. I had to have something Little Miss A could share so chose Gnocchi with bolognese. It was delicious so I decided to try it out at home!
It is really easy to make (if you buy pre-made gnocchi – homemade gnocchi is delicious but a little fiddly and long winded to make!). All you need is some bolognese (I won’t tell you how to make this it is on everyone’s list of go to meals, isn’t it?); a few cubes of crispy bacon and a bag of gnocchi.
Once you have made your bolognese simply stir in the gnocchi then top with some cooked (until crispy) bacon. I pre made the bolognese so it went into the oven cold. I baked it for around 20-25 minutes at 180C and it was perfect.
I have tried this before topped with cheese which is also delicious, however, cheese never lasts very long in our house when I buy it so I didn’t have any left for tonight!
