Hair & Beauty Magazine
Hello everyone~ Long time, no talk! I recently settled into college and have been trying to re-schedule in blogging. Right now, I really like posting on Tuesday and Friday, and at the moment, I have a bit of free time to write, edit, etc.
Today I wanted to talk about the Glossier Soothing Face Mist that I got in the Glossier Phase #1 Kit (read about that here). I will be comparing it to the Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs, and Rosewater (read about that here) because it is based around using roses as the selling point ingredient.
I am gonna make this short, sweet, and simple. Both products contain the same amount of product, about 4 fl. oz. or 118 mL. However, the Mario Badescu Spray is less than half the price of the Glossier Soothing Face Mist, being $7.00 and $18.00 respectively.
As for the product, both are fairly similar. I feel as if the Glossier Soothing Face Mist is more rose scented than the Mario Badescu, but I much prefer the scent of the Mario Badescu than the Glossier. Something that I enjoy about the Mario Badescu Spray is that it give a nice glow to skin whether it be on its own or with makeup. Whereas the Glossier Soothing Face Mist doesn't have that nice glow element.
Overall, I would not repurchase this product because it is more expensive and does not work as well as the Mario Badescu Spray. It is much harder to get because it is only sold online when the Mario Badescu Spray is sold at Ulta and is much cheaper!
Happy Tuesday!
