eggless yeast free gingerbread donuts recipe with spices and jaggery.Making donuts without yeast is really challenging because of texture and also the shape.I am here with another recipe with spices used in gingerbread along with jaggery in the dough.I already shared a mini donuts recipe without eggs and yeast.check it out that for more detailed recipe for making yeast free donuts.

I was planning to do some recipes which are no bake and also easy to whip it up for last minute dessert for Holidays.So there are so many recipes in my to do list and this is the one which comes very first time.this is such a wonderful recipe and also a keeper,you dont want yeast and eggs in donuts and these are fried donuts,here you can also bake it in the donut pans if you dont want the fired ones.

I already shared gingerbread mousse and which are quite spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg and these are best for winter to try out something comfortable to the tastebuds.lets move on making the recipe.,

donuts made without eggs and yeast with some spices

Ingredients

  • all purpose flour/maida - 2 cup
  • jaggery powder - 1/4 cup
  • milk - 1/4 cup
  • yogurt - 1/2 cup
  • cooking soda - 1 teaspoon
  • cinnamon powder ,ginger powder - as per your taste
  • oil - for frying
  • cinnamon sugar - for topping
  • chocolate sauce - for topping
Instructions
  1. Take maida and cooking soda in a mixing bowl to that ad jaggery powder and mix well.
  2. Now mix the spice powders to it and make sure everything mixed evenly.
  3. Mix milk and yogurt together in a bowl and whisk it gently until both are combined well.
  4. Add this to the flour mixture and make a soft dough.Dont over do the dough ,otherwise the donuts becomes hard after frying.
  5. Rest the dough for 10 to 15 minutes and take the dough out.Knead it once again and roll it a floured surface.
  6. Roll into your desired thickness and make shapes.Use your cookie cutter or donut cutter for perfect shape.
  7. Heat oil for frying,once it becomes hot,lower the flame.
  8. Deep fry the donuts in low flame till both sides are evenly browned.Remove once it is done.
  9. Roll them in the cinnamon sugar and serve it with the chocolate sauce.
