gingerbread chocolate mousse- easy eggless mousse made with dark chocolate,cream and spice powders from cardamom powder,clove powder,nutmeg powder and cinnamon powder.this mousse can be made in minutes if you are ready with the whipped cream.I adapted the recipe from my eggless chocolate mousse which i already shared here.

the mousse can also be made with speculoos spice mix which is nothing but all the spice powders which i mentioned above along with dry ginger powder.i want to share this recipe for long but i did not able to make this one last year.i made this two months back and saved it to drafts.Actually i want to post this one as the first christmas recipe for this year,unfortunately am in travel,so cant able to make that.here comes the recipe.,

i used amul dark chocolate in this recipe.you can use any type of dark chocolate like 70% ones.it works better for this mousse.I did not added much sugar as i want the sweetness from cream and dark chocolate as it is 50%one.

the below pic i shot months back and i shared it in instagram,received so many positive response and appreciations.V too appreciated and suggested a little fabric there which should be avoided to make it even better.

eggless mousse made with spice powders,dark chocolate and whipped cream

Ingredients
  • dark chocolate - 100gm
  • whipping cream - 1 cup
  • powdered sugar - 2 to 3 teaspoons
  • spice powder - 1 teaspoon
  • vanilla essence - 1 teaspoon(optional)
  • dark chocolate or cherry for topping
Instructions
  1. Whip the cream with powdered sugar with electric beater or a balloon whisk until soft peaks came and refrigerate it till use.
  2. Melt the dark chocolate in double boiler.Once it melts add spice powder,vanilla essence and mix it well.Cool this completely.
  3. Now add the whipped cream to the chocolate mixture and fold it from the bottom and then fold it.Dont whisk it.
  4. Make sure all are evenly combined.Now transfer it to serving bowls and refrigerate.
  5. top it with whipped cream or cherry.
