Calling all Earth First! Newswire readers:
It’s that time again to send your art and writing to the Earth First! Journal Collective.
We may be a few thousand dollars short of reaching our $8,000 print and shipping goal for the latest issue of the magazine—due out soon, or whenever we can afford it—but we wouldn’t be Earth First!ers if we weren’t dreamers, eternal optimists, industriously working for an end of industry, and a little bit batshit crazy.
So we’re starting on the next magazine, and we need your help to do it!
We’re looking for accounts of eco-defense, studies in biodiversity, stories of indigenous struggle, clandestine communiqués, anarchist musings, analytical action critiques, thoughts on movement strategy, interviews with environmental activist groups, tools for action, radical poetry, campaign success stories, reportbacks from radical events, nature and action photos, original art, and, as always, mean-spirited letters to the editors!
We ask that written submissions be between 500 and 3,000 words, and that letters to the editor be under 300 words. Photos and digital art must be high-res, at least 300 ppi (700 ppi for the cover). But if you don’t know if your file is high-res enough, just send it and we’ll let you know.
