Getting lost in a city where you've grown up in can sometimes be easy. The same streets you walked down 100 times can become brand new. Paying attention to the details around you can be bliss. What I love most about New York City is you can truly discover it all over again. When I first started dating my bf Danny (5 long years ago), we took many trips down to the Village to grab dinner and drinks. I've taken that trip countless times before BUT it seemed brand new because I was with him. As I read that last line I just typed, I KNOW it sounds cheesy BUT such is life. Sometimes you get lost and rediscover things in different ways because of the timing in your life.

The last time we hit those amazing city streets of ours, it was a gorgeous day. I had the cutest Population Now tee hanging in my closet just waiting to be worn. It's honestly so comfy and perfect for layering. You know I LOVE to layer! When I put this outfit together I wanted the tee to be the main focus. I kept the colors around muted and subtle. The contrast of the red in the flannel button down gave my look the pop it needed but the graphic on the tee kept your focus. Check out my look!
