Picture This month's feature is truly exciting especially for anyone who wants to pursue a career in makeup artistry. One of my mentors, Georginna Desuasido will be sharing the contents of her Pro Make-up Bag! Oh yes! Ain't that a treat? Just so you know, I actually completed my Temptu Pro Advanced Airbush Course at MUD Manila under Geroginna. Picture Photo from www.georginna.com
Georginna was trained at the Studio Make up Academy at the Sunset Gower   Studios   in Hollywood where she got her certificates in Beauty  Makeup  Artistry as well as Special Effects for Film, TV and  Print.  She also  apprenticed under an  Emmy Award Winning  makeup artist and got  accreditation from the International   Federation of Airbrush Artists in the U.S.  She is a certified  Master  Makeup Artist with experience in print, runway and high  definition format film and TV.  She is  currently lead instructor
at the Makeup Designory School  (MUD) in Manila.  She also  teaches airbrush classes.
Lei asks Georginna, What's in your pro make-up bag?
This is how I'm usually set up. I take a mirror with me instead of a mallet because its easier to take along during travels. I also bring a suit case or soft case and everything is in clear pouches.
Picture Her set-up is actually so organized and everything you need is within an arm's length. I see an airbrush compressor and gun to the left with, Ben Nye Loose powders and several pallettes from Graftobian, Inglot and others on the right.
Here is my makeup setup. Everything is usually to my right along with pouches  of lip colors, eye pencils and other specialty stuff. The makeup I bring depends  on the work I need to do for the day.
Picture What's the one thing you must always have in your pro make-up bag?
These are my most prized possessions especially after losing the 1st set. :( My  favorite brushes are sigma brushes. They have replaced the highend ones that were  stolen a few years back.
Picture Thanks again Georginna! It's such an honor to be one of your students in  Advanced Airbrush at Make Up Designory. I'm so glad I got to learn airbrushing  from one of the best in the country!
I hope you  enjoyed our featured personality this month. Watch out again next month on whose  make-up bag we would raid next!
