Gemini Rising – March 2013
In this month the Sun is passing through your 10th house of work and career so you should feel quite happy about your work and public situation. Now would be a good time to make plans for the future and consult with superiors to see how you might progress in your career, especially as the Sun is joined by Venus and Mars this month. Venus in your 10th house brings good relations with people in power and it is possible that you may be involved now in some creative or social aspect of your work, be it in design or in public relations of some kind. Mars here will make you assertive and active in wanting to progress and to impress. The likelihood now is that you may be more in the spotlight or you may have to accept some new responsibilities; it could be that you will be more visible to those around you in your workplace than has been the case in the past, whether you like it or not. This transit is moving through one of the parental houses so issues involving your parents, or more pertinently your father could be of importance. Older people can be a source of comfort now and you may use their experience to help you progress in life. As these planets move into Aries and your 11th house in the last third of the month, teamwork and cooperation and relations with friends will come more into the spotlight. You will need other people’s help now, so listen to them. On 22nd March Mars and Uranus make a conjunction in your 11th house. If you are working in a team, you may be inspirational now but also in a rather temperamental mood. Try to channel the energy in a positive way otherwise arguments could ensue.
Mercury and Saturn make opportunistic sextiles to Pluto on the 7th March, so some progress in your work situation can be achieved now, although you may have to share some of the burden or responsibilities in doing so. Initially you may find any changes restrictive, but by the end of the month you may get a little more freedom to move forward and achieve your aims. Mercury meanwhile is still in it’s retrograde phase until 17th March, so mistakes at work could cost you dear unless you double check everything. Be especially careful in this regard near to 15th and 16th March as Mercury slows in conjunction with Neptune. If you are unhappy in your work, please stay put until at least the end of this retrograde period. Assess what is going on and then make adjustments if you need to as Mercury makes another sextile to Pluto this time in direct motion at the end of the month.
We have a powerful full Moon in Libra hitting in your 5th house of lovers, individuality, children entertainment and speculation. This full Moon is exactly opposite to Uranus, Venus and Mars as well as the Sun; it is widely square to Pluto and trine to Jupiter. The actions of friends may affect spark a new romance or a more serious relationship. If you are single, look out for this possibility as sparks of love could now fly. Unusual incidents while you are out socializing or at an entertainment or a sports event could surprise you now.
