Gemini Rising – December 2012
Gemini Rising souls like yourself will find that relationships will be very much on your agenda in December. The Sun is passing through your 7th house for most of the month, your house of partnerships, so one to one dealings with business associates or matters that you have to sort out with your permanent partner or your spouse will be prominent in your life now. Generally you will be in an optimistic mood with Jupiter moving through your 1st house, and that jovial side of you will be reflected onto your partner and the ones you love. On the 3rd, the Sun opposes Jupiter which emphasises this fun and confident spirit, however the old saying goes that “pride can come before a fall”. Just be careful in not being too over confident in whatever you are doing, accidents can happen. The New Moon on the 13th in Sagittarius highlights these same issues. Possibly a new joint venture or an idea to work with someone may start to form in your consciousness.
Mercury starts December in your 6th house and you will be pre-occupied with work, routine and health, the more mundane things in life. As it is picks up pace after it’s retrograde period, it enters Sagittarius on 11th and immediately picks up on a square to Neptune. This is inspirational but also a rather vague aspect and you may misunderstand what you are being told by work colleagues. Be very careful if you are signing important documents now as you may ignore the all-important small print. As the month progresses your relationship or one to one dealings come more into your thoughts. Now would not be a time to go it alone in any project and having a partner or someone to help you will aid you to succeed in any ventures. On the 14th Mercury makes a trine to Uranus and this could see a group or friend giving you inspiration or ideas to improve your life.
Venus is still in your 6th house as December begins so at work you will be in a harmonious and diplomatic mood, smoothing over any disputes with those you work with. Venus in the 6th can make you feel a bit lazy and the urge to go to the gym or keep fit tends to wane a little. On the 16th, Venus squares with Neptune which is a dreamy aspect, but rather unrealistic. Maybe you will expect more of people than they can deliver? At work, fellow workers may disappoint you greatly. As we enter the second half of the month, Venus sidles into your 7th house. Xmas is a wonderful time, and this year you will definitely be in a mood for a romantic break just with your partner or spouse. On the 19th Venus makes a trine to Uranus, and a chance meeting to someone new and maybe unusual could spark a romance if you are single.
Mars during December spends most of the month in your 8th house in flirty Sagittarius. As such, your attitude to intimacy and all sorts of unusual experiences will be irresistible. People who come into your life now may have a very transformative effect on you. Be careful not to initiate arguments or disagreements over jointly held finances or possessions.
The full Moon in Cancer on 28th is a very powerful and emotional one and it occurs in your 2nd house, so matters of money or of your self-confidence will be highlighted. The Moon Pluto opposition activated now brings intense feelings in anything shared, be it finance, property, possessions or even intimate moments. Power, control and matters of jealousy can all come to the surface. On a positive note, you can now possibly gain control or possession of something that you have been longing for.
