Further Down The Road

Lars and I were so captivated by the beauty of Albanian nature, that we had simply passed Ksamil without noticing it. And a couple of minutes later, we found ourselves near the entrance of Butrint National Park:

Butrint National Park is known as an archaeological site and belongs to the Unesco World Heritage List. It is one of the most popular touristic attractions in this region. Since it was already late in the afternoon, we decided to postpone our visit to it, but we did have a look at the surrounding wetlands.

Now… what can we say? There is only one word to describe this. Wow!
