” ‘A hero can be anyone. Even a man doing something as simple and reassuring as putting a coat around a young boy’s shoulders to let him know that the world hadn’t ended.’ said Batman in his deep thick voice and Gordan was all like, holy shit Bruce Wayne is the batman.”

“I’m not really in the mood for your batman’s spoilers or if it matters, I don’t even want to talk to anyone right now.”, I replied.

But Sushant being Sushant, was not going to acknowledge my self thrust solitude upon myself.

“What happened? I knew something was wrong when you didn’t show up at the movie theater. I called you up for like zillion time but you didn’t picked up and now you’re not in the mood for batman, that’s almost as near as you come to blasphemy.”

“Nothing man, just not in the mood of talking or anything.”, depression coated words fell out of my lips.

“Come on, I know you better than that. You’re sounding like someone died or something.”

“My gpa did.”

“what? what? what? Not being a fan of Ekta Kapoor sitcoms but one ‘what’ was simply not enough. Anyways is she still making serials?”, Sushant and his random flow of thoughts.

“You know, I so want to kill you right now.”, I said, while giving him a look saying ‘I mean every word of what I am saying’.

“I know of your results, That’s why I got the tickets for TDKR in black, no pun intended.” He can’t get serious even on his death-bed, ” I knew you would go to your ‘sulk corner’ after seeing it, so wanted to get your mind off to something else. But you checked the results before the movie, July is a bad month for us ”

“I’m not sulking.”

“Yeah you’re not, but the thing is nothing can be done about it now. We’ll study together in next semester and I bet that you’ll get enough to be counted into those nerd group. Though personally I wouldn’t want you to go mingle with them, they’re weird.”, said Sushant with a smirk. “Now please stop crying like a girl and let’s go out.”

“I don’t know what I did to deserve a friend like you, but I must have done something special.”, I said while finally flashing a smile.

“Go on.”

“Bitch Please.”

And we both smiled and laughed and it had nothing to do with us getting high afterwards.

It may not be in a league with a typical role model and someone achieving something great story, but in the end small memories makes bigger impact on life than thick self help inspirational books.

I am writing about #MyRoleModel as a part of the activity by Gillette India in association with BlogAdda.com.
