Last week I told you all about our big move away from home. Back home we left some great friends who we have spent a lot of time with both before and after our children came along.
Before children we spent many an afternoon and night in the pub drinking, chatting, quizzing, just generally having fun! Sometimes there was even a bit or karaoke thrown in!
As well as that we spent many a happy afternoon in their beautiful garden during the warmer weather letting our babies dogs play together and being fed some amazing food.
We also went to the V Festival together one year.
Our friends had their son around 9 months before Little Mr A came along. The boys got on really well and we would often go around to each others' houses for food and drinks and to let the boys play together.
We had a lovely holiday together in Cornwall and had great fun playing on the beach, eating fish and chips and exploring in the rain!
When Big Mr A was working away during the week my friend was always there for me, keeping me sane even though she had two gorgeous boys to look after by then, as well as work.
Not long after we moved away they did too. Although they are less than 2 hours away from where we are now we don't see them very often - perhaps a couple of times a year.
I will always remember those days fondly and I know that I have a great friend who, although I may not speak to very often, is always there for me when I need her.
I really hope when we move home we can see each other more than once or twice a year!
