French Toast Bagel Pudding

A few weeks ago, I met this lady and this lady for a little Whole Foods brunch. I love me some Whole Foods anything, but this was the first time I had the pleasure of enjoying my favorite meal there. Wow. I mean, I know I'm a bit biased BECAUSE breakfast makes me a little happier than receiving a million dollars would, but Whole Foods knows how to do some breakfast right.

​They had some sort of creme brulee bread pudding. HAD. I ate the whole pan. Whole foods, whole pan...get it? Meh...

The Melissa suggested that I make something like that. Done and done. I love a good recipe suggestion. I simmered on it for a bit, using my oh so creative imagination and came up with this variation of bread pudding. ​

I used some several day old cinnamon raisin bagels for this breakfast casserole and threw in some cream cheese for a bit of creaminess. They key to getting the pudding like consistency of regular bread pudding is letting this sit overnight so the bagels really absorb the liquid.​
