It’s true – Parisians are effortlessly stylish, and their couldn’t-care-less look is replicated by fashion fans across the world. Classic stripes, bold colours and simple accessories make for a cool, sophisticated look that’s so easy to replicate. So although we can’t promise that you’ll be sipping a coffee in a chic cafe near the Eiffel Tower, with our guide to Parisian style you’ll soon be rocking that laidback look.
Primary colours are key to the Parisian look – think rich reds, nautical navys and a splash of bright white. Mix floaty, feminine pieces like this Heart Blouse with masculine tailoring and block colours, then finish off with a slouchy tote bag.
For guys, French style is all about the classics. Some deep blue chinos, a striped tee, fitted cardigan and simple espadrilles are all you need to get the look.
