Interview with the remnants of a Ukrainian brigade, apparently the 72nd that broke out of the Southern Cauldron. They state that four Ukie brigades were “exterminated,” as they put it. Of a group of 6,000 men, at least 3,500 were KIA (killed in action). Many were also wounded and quite a few surrendered across the border to the Russians.
