♥ FOTD : Simple Smoky Eyes and Pink Lips ♥

Its that time of the year when meeting friends, family get-together and parties seem to be lined up. Not to forget the Birthdays and Anniversaries in my list, i have been trying simple smoky eyes at home whenever i get a little free time. Otherwise I have been quite busy watching K-Drama lately, lol *-*To those interested, am following 'Melody of Love', 'The Heirs' and the 'Beautiful Man'. I suggest you try these if you are into K-Drama and all!!Okay, back to the eye makeup; i am very impatient when it comes to makeup. I prefer simple and quick tricks to get the look perfect. And i have been looking for ways to come up with a simple smoky eye for my taste which i can wrap up in 5 mins or less!! Though wondering if its even possible to get done in such a less time by even pros, i am determined to get done one myself which is simple and quick.Saying that, i realized crayon sort of eye shadows look much softer on me and give that finesse look than the powder eye shadows. Powder and cake ones look harsh on me and actually don't suit me at all. Is that due to the area around my eyes is too dry for it???For now i did use MUA Palette in Undressed (shade 8 and shade 11), Maybelline Hyper Sharp eyeliner, LASplash Cosmetics Mascara in Abyss here for the look and for the lips i used Topshop lipstick in Sartorial and used Topshop Lip Crayon in Secret Party and MaxFactor Colour Elixir Lip Liner in Red Rush








I kinda liked the LASplash Cosmetics Mascara in Abyss. Though it shows tiny speckles of glitter in the tube it didn't show up as much when applied and yet it gave a different effect to my lashes. They looked kinda chunky and thick and sort of dark greyish black. Its a nice change from my routine black mascaras and i am excited to see if it would impress me further too!!*It was part of samples from the Vellvette box sent sometime back
