Hey Loves!
Happy New Year! It's been a few weeks but I had to get through the holidays and get ready to go back to work. NOW, that I am back into the flow of things i'm ready to blog up a storm. Ok, maybe not a storm but a little rain shower instead. I'm starting off this year with a new style post (kind of the way I ended the year). I had to wake up early on a Saturday- I know, sad right? I had an event to attend and honestly didn't know what to wear. It was pretty cold out today, so I decided to do some major layering.
Layering is always fun and obviously it's a good idea when it's freezing out. I grabbed my heavy duty denim shirt and threw it over this awesome sweater from Old Navy, which I might add was on major sale! Check out today's look!

Whenever I don't know what to wear to an event, I always lean more towards casual but with a great pair of shoes. Any outfit can be pull together with a magnificent pair of shoes. It really can make a difference! I am obsessed with booties, so it was a clear choice when I saw these babies in the store. More to come, so stay tuned!
