Review of Munchkin’s Monsters University range of cups and dining set

You may remember not so long ago Little Miss A was sent a Minnie Mouse cup and dining set from Munchkin.  We have now been sent their full range of Monsters University cups and the dining set to test out and review.

As with the previous Munchkin products, again, we are very impressed by the quality and ease of use.  Both Little Miss A and Little Mr A really liked the Monsters design.  In fact Little Mr A stole the cup with the straw for himself!

I really like the fact that you can swap around the tops on these cups so if your child fancies a different cup one day but with their favourite top you can just chop and change it around.  The straw cup we received came with a pink design that Little Mr A wasn’t too keen on so we have swapped the straw lid to the green cup which he is much happier with!

As I’ve mentioned previously, I really like the click lock technology Munchkin use on their cups.  It is so easy to tell when the cup is fully closed as it clicks into place, and we have never had a problem with leaking even with the amount of tipping upside down and throwing around Little Miss A does!

Again, the toddler set is great quality and I really like the fact that the plate has three sections which is ideal for small children when they are learning to eat different things.  The plate and bowl also have a small rubber edge on the bottom to help prevent too much slipping.

The range includes a Monsters Click Lock™ 7oz Trainer Cup (RRP £4.50) which is easy for mini hands to hold onto the easy-to-grip handles.

As well as testing out the Monsters range, we were also treated to cinema tickets so we could go and see the new Monsters University film!  Unfortunately Little Miss A is still too young for the cinema so she spent the afternoon with her Grandparents whilst we took Little Mr A.  He took his Monsters cup with him to show off!

All of us thoroughly enjoyed the film, I personally thought it was much better than the original and it was lovely to spend the afternoon together just the three of us which we haven’t had the chance to do since Little Miss A was born.

I really like the collaboration between Munchkin and Disney; I think it is a really great fit and I think the new Monsters range is perfect for any little monster!
