Good grief! It seem like only yesterday (December 26, 2007) that I did my first post. It's been a long-standing pleasure to talk about and share pictures of Madison County, the farm, flora and fauna of all sorts, food, books, politics, silly stuff, stories . . . oh my!
Fewer people follow and comment these days--I think a lot of us are worn out/overwhelmed with all that's out there on the internet. And many folks have migrated to Twitter or Instagram or whatever the next new thing is. But, as I realized several thousand posts ago, I'm really doing this for myself--an online journal of sorts that I can refer to in the future to remind myself of various events in the past.
And--if all goes well, soon I may have something new to share.
So, on to the next thousand, one post at a time!
