Fit Fix Water Infuser Bottle

By Debi Lantzer @debiL1611

I’m always behind in my water intake, whether I’m training for a race or just day to day living. You see, I’m just not a fan of water and that’s all there is to it! If I add some sort of drink mix to it, then fine, I’ll drink it, but plain ole regular water – uh, no thanks.  Obviously, this is a serious problem when I’m training for a race because more often than not, I end up dehydrated and suffer from way too much leg cramping.

Time and time again, I promise myself that I’m going to do better and time and time again, I just don’t do it. I truly believe there are no coincidences in life and that everything happens exactly the way it is supposed to, and for that reason, I think when I received an email from Fit Fit a couple weeks ago inviting me to give the Fit Fix Water Infuser Bottle a try, I completely agreed.

When I received the Water Infuser Bottle, the first thing I did was head off to the grocery store and pick up some lemons. I cut up a few of them and put them in a little container and took the Water Infuser Bottle and the lemons to work with me.

To give you an idea of my tragically “normal” water intake, there have been days where I have consumed a total of 16 ounces of water all day long and other than my morning cup of coffee, that’s the total sum of my beverage intake.  Not a good thing, right? Well, I’m happy to report that right out of the gate – Day 1 with this Water Infuser Bottle and I found myself drinking a total of 3 bottles just at work.  That’s 72 ounces in one day just at work, which means over four times more water just in an 8-hour work day!

The Water Infuser Bottle is BPA free, has an easy access pop top drinking spout and finger handle for carrying.  It is eco friendly – you just reuse the bottle instead of buying bottled water and it’s made of Tritan material.

A very nice feature on this Water Infuser Bottle is the large infusion bucket where you put the fruit (or vegetable or mint) screws into the bottom so the flavor is there until you finish the water and has time to “release” its flavor into the water the whole time you’re drinking it. So now that I’ve mastered this Water Infuser Bottle at work simply by adding lemons, I know I need to get another bottle to keep at home so I can experiment with even more variations of fruit. I’d also like to try mint and cucumber too!

It is important to note the company’s instructions on the proper way to use the Water Infuser Bottle: Once you finish drinking your delicious water, you’re ready for a refill. Each infusion can be refilled up to 3 times. You should let the 2nd and 3rd infusion sit a little longer before drinking. If you want more flavor shake up the bottle to release more flavors. Infusion time depends on how flavorful your would like the drink. On the 1st infusion 5 minutes can be enough time, 2nd and 3rd give it longer. For all beverages, the recommended shelf life is three days providing it has been refrigerated. If you consume your infused water within 12 hours then no refrigeration is required.

Do you have problems with your water intake? If you do, you may want to give this Fit Fix Water Infuser Bottle a try for yourself! This is your chance to empower your health and wellness each time you take a sip. It’s dishwasher safe, very easy to use, easy to carry and easy to clean. You can head over to Fit Fix’s website and check out this Water Infuser Bottle for yourself – very reasonably priced too!
