Sony has slowly leaked out information about Rian Johnson‘s Looper over the past week or so. It was a small series of vignettes that has led to the début of the trailer featured below. Looper stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis, Emily Blunt, Paul Dano, Noah Segan, Jeff Daniels, and Piper Perabo.
Looper comes to theaters on September 28, 2012.

Time travel will be invented, but it will be illegal and only available on the black market. When the mob wants to get rid of someone, they send their target 30 years into the past, where a “looper”—a hired gun, like Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt)—is waiting to mop up.
